1. About FableBean

FableBean Ltd generates personalised children's picture books. You can contact us at hello@fablebean.co.uk. By placing an order, you agree to these terms in full.

2. Eligibility

You must be 18 years or older to place an order or create an account. By using FableBean, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

3. Products and pricing

We offer digital PDF downloads, softcover prints, hardcover prints, and bundles. Prices are shown in your selected currency (GBP/USD/CAD). Prices include VAT where applicable. We reserve the right to change prices at any time; the price at the time of your order will be honoured.

4. Automatically generated content

Stories and illustrations are automatically generated using third-party technology providers. By placing an order, you acknowledge that:

• The story and images are automatically generated and results may vary between orders.
• FableBean does not guarantee a specific style, exact content, or outcome.
• The generated story is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use only.
• FableBean retains no copyright claim over your generated story content.

5. Digital products — right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have a 14-day right to cancel digital goods. However, this right is waived where you expressly consent to delivery beginning before the cancellation period expires.

By proceeding to checkout and placing an order for a digital product, you confirm that you consent to immediate generation and delivery of your digital book, and that you understand your right to cancel is thereby waived once generation begins.

No refund is available once your PDF has been generated.

6. Physical print products

You have a 14-day right to return a print order if the item is faulty or materially not as described. Personalised printed books cannot be returned for reasons other than fault or mis-description, as permitted under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To request a return or report a fault, contact us at hello@fablebean.co.uk within 14 days of receipt.

7. Delivery

Print orders are fulfilled by our print-on-demand partner. Estimated delivery is 5–7 business days after dispatch, depending on your location. FableBean is not liable for delays caused by our fulfilment partner or third-party postal carriers.

8. Liability

• FableBean's total liability to you in connection with any order is limited to the value of that order.
• We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or economic loss arising from use of our service.
• Nothing in these terms limits liability for death, personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud.

9. Intellectual property

The FableBean name, logo, platform, and all site content (excluding your generated story) are our intellectual property. Generated story content and illustrations are licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell or distribute generated content commercially.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
